Information continues to be updated as it becomes available. The Spring 2025 University Commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 9 a.m. in Carter-Finley Stadium.
Parking and Transportation
Carter-Finley Stadium Parking
There is no charge for parking at Carter-Finley Stadium during commencement.
Please be advised that there may be a heavy flow of traffic the day of commencement into and out of the area, and travel should be planned accordingly.
Graduates
Graduates are directed to enter through Gate B off Trinity Rd.
For easiest access to the graduate assembly area, parking is available in the Stadium East lot.

Faculty
Faculty are directed to enter through Gate E off Edwards Mill Rd. onto Steven Stroud Way.
For easiest access to the faculty assembly area, parking is available in the Stadium North lot. Faculty should then descend the access ramp on the northwest side of the stadium to the loading area for assembly.

Guests and Attendees
Parking is available for guests in the Stadium West, Stadium Southeast, Stadium North and IPF Lots. Staff will be on site to assist with directions.
Guests are directed to enter through either Gate B or Gate C off Trinity Rd., Gate E off Edwards Mill Rd. or Gate F off Westchase Blvd.

On-Campus Parking
Parking on campus is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because of limited campus parking, visitors are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation such as GoRaleigh and GoTriangle.

Graduates should park in the Stadium East lot and assemble in the Murphy Center lot. Guests can park in the Stadium West, Stadium Southeast, Stadium North and IPF Lots.

Graduates
Graduating students that require any assistive devices, services or other accommodations to participate in the Commencement exercises at Carter-Finley Stadium should contact commencement@ncsu.edu.
Accessible Student Parking
Accessible parking will be reserved for students on the east side Carter-Finley Stadium with the appropriate state-issued placards. Please follow instructions from staff on site.
Accessible Student Seating
Students will enter the stadium through the south side of the stadium; no stairs required. Seats will be available for students with accessible seating needs. Students with any questions regarding accessible seating should contact commencement@ncsu.edu.
Faculty
Faculty should enter through the access ramp on the northwest side of the stadium to the loading area for assembly and follow instructions of staff on site.
Accessible Faculty Parking
Accessible parking will be reserved for faculty in the Stadium North lot with the appropriate state-issued placards. Please follow instructions from staff on site.
Guests
Accessible Guest Parking
Accessible parking will be reserved for guests on both the east and west sides of Carter-Finley Stadium with the appropriate state-issued placards. Please follow instructions from staff on site.
Accessible Guest Seating
Guests will enter Carter-Finley Stadium from accessible parking through either the east of west sides of the stadium, through gate numbers 2, 3, 4, 8, or 9. Seats will be available for guests with accessible seating needs. Guests should work with staff on site for appropriate seating instructions.
